Summer is approaching. ): Nooo, run awaaay. Thinking back to the joy of last summer; of getting out of a cold shower and promptly beginning to sweat once again. I like one thing about summer; sitting outside at 7/8 pm when it's still light and halfway to being a decent temperature, when there's a nice breeze and a barbecue sizzling away happily.

That is it. There is nothing else pleasant about an Australian summer.

Ugh, I am stressing the hell ooout. Whine, whine. )

But huzzah for de-stress in the form of GNW )

Guys, guys, guys. So far, Ronan Keating and random brainless singers have guest starred on Good News Week - so I demand Billie Joe make an appearance! He actually has a brain. Omg, how awesome would that be? He and Paul can flirt, and snark about the state of America! And compete for shortest person! Pleeeease Paul? I love you for flirting outrageously with Jensen, even if it was largely cross-promotion, but but but Billie?

Are you picking up on my burgeoning McDermott obsession? I'm seeing him in, like, two weeeeeks. :D
Did I just insult Ronan Keating? Oops. My childhood cries today.

Right. My script. That thing that's due Monday. Work, Emma, work.

Just quietly, I love that most if not all of my great fandom loves are huge, gigantic, unforgivable DORKS. On this note, (dramatic!Jensen, anyone?) I need need neeeed the S4 bloopers right now. And I saw a little scene from 9 yesterday. I am terribly excited! I may have flailed a little at Elijah's voice.

And... I am weak. I caved. I listened to the entire album. EEEEEEEEEEEEE )

Can we all take a moment to talk about this photo? )

I have never been so excited to be a Sydney-Sider ahah. Look at all the crap amaazingly awesome stuff we've milked out of this little trip. They went to Taronga Zoo, went shopping in George St, apparently just J2 went to a rugby game... who knows what else they got up to. They also did this endlessly adorable interview. Jensen's smile is basically my favourite thing ever.

Also, I have a script presentation due on Monday. Possibly, I should start writing it. It's so not my fault I'm running late. The website deleted like the four pages I had. And further also, I NOW HAVE 200GB DOWNLOADS A MONTH. I CAN WATCH YOUTUBE AGAIN. And I can finally start going through con pics and videos. This is my gleeface.

Anyway, also, because I'll be seeing Dylan Moran (also Danny Bhoy! accents!) at some point in the next few weeks, Lookie here. )

Officially back from AHBL. I am possibly still on a cloud of squee, don't really mind. I got a hug from MISHA, and met and got a smile from JENSEN, and ... well, almost ran smack into JARED, and all in all I'm exhausted but blissfully fangirly.

Some slightly coherent details and a few pictures beneath the cut. I took a zillion of them, but waiting for the faster internet on Tuesday to upload the rest.

Oh, did I mention squee? )

From [here]:

Q: Is there any sense of friendly competition [between you and Jared]?
Jensen:
No, not at all. In fact, let me look here (reaching for his cell phone searching through messages), he wrote "Hey dude, thinking about you, hope it's going well. Kick Ass. Enjoy." No, we're very supportive. I'm stoked to see his movie, and he said he couldn't wait to see mine.

Oh, boys! <3 More texting interviews! How are you both so adorable? How? My diet is going to survive; I don't need any more sugar if these two keep this up, seriously. Good God. How am I supposed to go and write angsty action scenes now?

So, I rang the Hub Productions and begged and pleaded to let me book tickets over the phone, and they agreed, luckily. I am slightly concerned that they first process my order then send me a receipt in a few days (I don't like my credit card details just floating around there, omg), but, if all goes well, [info]obli_ttw and I will be attending the Jared/Jensen/Misha convention in Sydney! :D

I will possibly be very relieved and excited when I get the receipt emailed to me. But oh my goodness, I'm actually going! Hee and there is a tiny possibility I will actually get to say hi to Jensen Ackles for point five of a second while he signs a $40 piece of paper for me. Omg.

My wallet is very unhappy with this decision. I am perhaps more nervous than anything else, but when the receipt comes, there shall be much squeeing and dancing around the house excitedly, because I refuse to acknowledge that I am in fact a twenty year old. So there.

Er, so, didn't make it to the Moulin Rouge. But we tried! Epically long story short, we got lost, found the place after an hour or so but then couldn't find parking, then as we were fleeing the Cross in a wave of anger and frustration, we saw some lady on a curb with her hoo-ha out. So. Good times all around!

Also, I've started to watch Studio 60 again. I've had the set for months and so far have only watched the first seven episodes. But I'd forgotten how awesome it really was lol. Matthew Perry is fantastic in it, and the relationship between his character Matt and Bradley Whitford's character Danny is adorable! Practically husband/husband in canon hehe. Many recommendations here. Basically a drama about the runnings of a comedy show like SNL.

Anyway. I got through Jensen's episodes of Dawson's Creek and squee'd many times, and also remembered my previous adoration of Joshua Jackson. Some baby!Jensen (aka CJ) caps beneath, and the link to the full photobucket album. Should I mention that David Spade played a CJ in 8 Simple Rules, and two of his co-stars from Rules of Engagement are in this season of Dawson's? No?

So I went to a bar last night. It was pretty cool; it was set out like a big lounge, with bowling lanes spread throughout, and a laser challenge arena out the back, with neon tables and whatnot. I also apparently rock at bowling, and may possibly have cried out "slamerino" when I got a strike. I miss 21 Jump Street hehe.

Also, what is this, I was hoping for slashiness from the MBV 3D premier today, instead just Jensen and Danneel... ehhhh. Still, Jensen looked fiiine. And he kept playing with his ring on Jimmy Kimmel! Eeee! Subtlety, they have none. Also with the jumper that looks exactly like one of Jared's and just general squee. Oh well, I shall hold out for the Friday the 13th premier.

Now, time for the Good Son caps? Jensen says yes.

(This possibly means Dawson's Creek!Jensen caps will be on their way also. What? It was $12 for the season. That's like, $1 for each episode he's in. Bargain. Kinda.)

Tossing up whether or not it's worth paying $150 for a nearly sold-out day pass to the Jared/Jensen convention in April. I'd no doubt be stuck way at the back, and get nowhere near them, but it is the two of them, together, and if I had a good quality camera... Ehhh. Damn them. I am such a loser for walking RIGHT PAST Jared at Supernova with nothing more than a quick glance of interest. I hate myself. Why do I always just miss my favourite actor type people? Why??

Also, I'm pretty sure Dean Winchester will never be tough again now that I've seen him play with Wishbone. With the pretty long hair and stuff. Sorry man.

For my birthday, [info]obli_ttw managed to track down a DVD copy of Elijah in Oliver Twist! I love love loved that movie, oh, and had such a huge crush on Elijah!Dodger. Thus you are all in for a brief Elwood spam, and a link to all 80 images at my photobucket for the more enthusiastic. The movie's quite old and grainy so the caps aren't the best quality, but I tried lol.y

I'm baaaack. Oh, precious internet. I'll never leave you again. Consequently I'm sure I have missed many things, but I'll try to catch myself up. How is everyone?

I think I'm finally over my flu. Just now in the 'cough uncontrollably when the wind blows' stage, but feeling much better. I really need to be job hunting now, but no one seems to be advertising for a dog walker/minder so I'm not terribly excited about the prospect of employment. Stupid people.

I've actually used my sickness to further my television series viewing though, which has been most helpful. Dark Angel is down, as well as (almost) two seasons of Scrubs, which I am of course loving. I even appreciate the hetero pairings in that show, which is amazing, really.

Anyway, because cleaning my room is about as appealing as public speaking, a brief-ish baby!Jensen/Alec from Dark Angel picspam. May I mention that the phony British accent in that one episode pretty much made my life? Thank you Jensen.

Well you just lost your tip. )

Happy New Year, all! Two hours to go here in Aussie land. That means two hours for Jared and Jensen to be caught snogging or/with wedding rings. Eh, they did well enough, no matter.

My happy things this year, in no particular order:

* Obama!!
* Jared, Jensen, and Supernatural, obviously.
* Live Journal and all of you eljayers! *huggles* ILU all!
* Hobbits! (and LOTR boys and girls)
* The three F's: Family, Friends, and Fandom.
* My occasionally affectionate cat.
* Disney soundtracks.
* Actually writing and studying. Welcome back, brain.

Here's wishing for a wonderful, happy, peaceful, fandomy new year!

(As a sidenote, I watched Jensen's season of Dark Angel. Okay, the show's actually kinda cool, and baby!Jensen is the most adorable thing ever, even when being beaten up by women, which seems to be a trademark of Jensen characters. Jensen <3)

I'm drinking coke from a martini shaker with a straw. I'm awesome. I have a fairly blinding headache though. Oy vey. I had a dream last night in which Elijah Wood and Billy Boyd were camping in my garage facility, and I joined them, and we roasted apples. Brilliant.

I also have an hour of study break, and I may have overdosed on the Jensen Smallville scenes last night, so we now come to the WHY SUPERNATURAL IS MADE OF WIN AND EVERYBODY SHOULD WATCH IT post of spam and gushings and true facts. From the perspective of a relative newbie. Thus hypothetically more objective than a fan who has been a fan from the beginning. Yes? Yes. Tally Ho.

Really, I'm so so so bored and uninspired and this is fun. Shhhh.

I'm pretty sure I need the Doug Anthony All Stars dvd now. Oh also, if anyone feels the need to indulge in a moment of adoration of boy-kissing, I bring you Paul McDermott and Ross Noble. Seriously, they take impromptu kissing to a whole new level of hotness and perversion hehe.

First of all, I got a high distinction for my final prose assignment! I'm quite shocked but quite happy. I think my lowest mark this term for writing has been in the 70s, which is much better than last semester, so I'm feeling not so bad about uni any more. This is encouraging.

Also, of course, the Jared/Jensen panels went on at the Chicago con today, and whilst there was still no public shmooching going on (not that it was really expected), the cute stories that are coming out are just so endlessly lovely.

My favourite? Jared's story about Jensen falling asleep with Harley and Sadie (Jared's big puppies) curled around him on his bed, and Jared snapping a photo of it. Then referring to the photo subjects as 'my three dawgs... don't tell Jensen'. <3

It just took me three hours to do my flist. The mind boggles.

Alright, so, drama of the week. I applied for special consideration for my philosophy exam (as I'd been sick for the four days leading up to it and had not studied), and sent in my medical stuff, HOWEVER, they called me back saying mum had sent in copies, and they needed the official ones. So I need to get them the originals before they can make up their mind about whether or not I can do the exam at some other date, or if I've just failed my course. ... Fun. I'm a bit terrified they'll actually be like, yeah that's fine, come do it Monday afternoon. Please God no. I still haven't studied. Did I mention I hate philosophy?

Jensen and Jared go to bars and buddy up when they go to the bathroom. :D Oh, these boys. Seriously, the glee.

Charles Winchester (M*A*S*H*) was in Frasier! Ahah! The delicious irony. I squee'd.

Other than that, neh. I need a job, preferrably with no customer interaction, and my hair is soon to be re-Billie-fied, and blue'd, in homage to Priestly. Huzzah! Also my father is going to NZ in a month or so and refuses to take photos when he goes through about four LOTR spots, and I kinda hate him a wee bit for that.

Apparently Jared and Jensen took off down to Seattle to catch a Seahawks game this weekend. Way to reassert your heterosexuality, guys. Embark on a roadtrip with the person you spend 400 percent of your life with already to cuddle up next to each other in the cold and buy each other beers and candy and shit. Honestly, are they ever apart? I would go stir crazy spending that much time with anybody. I wish they'd get married already, because it's almost getting ridiculous. It's like they are actually physically dependent on one another.

They make me sick with their schmoopiness. I jest of course, I want pictures, now.

Yeah, I'm quite sick. I got no study done today, was too busy alternately melting and freezing and hacking and dying and stuff. I am never going to pass this Philosophy exam on Wednesday :( Even if I do get the course down by then (which I have not even begun to look at, all term, it may as well be AP Math), I'll be coughing and fevery and nose-runny on the actual day, and probably flunk the damn exam anyway. Ergh! I kinda need to pass it, too, so as to pass the subject and not fork out another $7000 to re-do it/do something else. Fail.

Anyway. Baby fandom pictures! Featuring Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Jensen Ackles and Johnny Depp. To bring more squee to your life.

I think I may participate in NaNoWriMo this year. Because hell, I've got one exam left until freedom. Sure I need a job, but it won't be full time. I can see if I can push out that vampire epic :)

On that note, anyone know of a job that involves zero % interaction with people? That would be ideal.

Anyway I'm still procrastinating, even though I really need to learn an entire Philosophy course by Wednesday for my exam, so I bring a spam of the SPN boys being guylovey! Because if you're in the fandom or not, they will honest to God bring a smile to your face. They are doing a fantastic job of making me smile on a daily basis. Especially now that Jensen too makes jokes about the whole J2 thing, which obviously means they are having teh sexxors, no?
