Thoughts:

1) Lisa Mitchell is adorable. I kinda wanna go see her when she's at uni later this month. I keep watching the Coin Laundry clip, over and over.

2) There's a full orchestra at Jerry Lewis. And being in the same room as Paul, I'd say there's a chance he shall siiiiiiing. :D (Mayhaps with Mikey? They need to sing My Shadow and Me so I can cry happily in my seat.)

3) 'Wedding Spell' from the Witches of Eastwick OST is basically 3 minutes of Paul moaning/shrieking in pain lol. Also throaty growly sweary Paul! I enjoy this. (Ugh, I turned down tickets to thiiiis...)

4) These images of Jared and Jensen, and Green Day. )

5) Back to study (and er not drabbles at all)

Flu is back. WHY. We just did this, body! I need to be healthy right now; I'm rearranging my room before the upcoming house inspection, which is a huge gigantic horrible process, and it's the holidays, and we're going out to see Bruno in a few nights, and ugh. Stupid sickness. I've spent the day being either freezing cold and miserable, or boiling hot and miserable. Ugh.

Also, I enjoy the fact that Green Day just held a concert in Vancouver. J2 were obviously in the general vicinity. Clearly the went along and were inspired by the epic Green Day gay.

Obligatory GNW squee. )

Okay. Apparently Green Day tickets actually go on pre-sale Thursday, BUT they have decided to be tricksy and only release the 300 good (up front) GA tickets on June 1st at some venue in the city. So, if I want to try and get good tickets, I need to go spend the night in the city and line up and HOPE that I'm close enough to the front of the queue to actually purchase them. Which means if I miss out, I've also missed out on the pre-sale, AND the online normal sale.

... I'm not happy about this. It's a cute idea, but I can be just as loyal a fan via the internet, thanks very much. Seriously, 21st Century and all that. I don't relish the idea of spending the night on my own in the city, the verge of a panic attack in the cold/rain, hoping against hope I actually get a ticket. This is my unhappy face. I think I'll buy seats in the pre-sale and sell them if I manage to get GA tickets later, but... *pouts and mutters* Gah, they're only doing one show here, who knows when they'll next be out... I just want good tickets!

... Stress. But eased somewhat by GNW Squee )

Green Day will apparently have an interview on Rove this Sunday. :D Chances of gay are high.

Went out to a cute Thai restaurant at the beach last night with my oldest friend (fifteen and a half years, wow) and had a loud, ridiculously inappropriate conversation with him, then went to get white hot chocolates at Gloria Jeans. There was a guy there playing guitar, and he was amazing! Name was Kane Leo, and I maybe wanted to bring him home with me so he could live in the stairwell and play guitar forever. Anyway, that's not creepy.

I just saw myself on GNW! )

Mother has been talking seriously about taking a mother/daughter trip to Melbourne for one of the Green Day shows. Omg.

I have this epic urge to go bushwalking. It's only fun when it's 2*C and cloudy skies and crisp. Also I practically salivate at the smell of smoke/campfires. We went on a trail out near Bondi several years ago and stumbled across a Scouts group cooking damper; zomg I waaant.

Anyway. I'm completely normal. New hair, plus GNW squee )

I shall now return to my comparison of the Great Gatsby and Emma (of the Jane Austen Persuasion. Haha get it? Oh, literary jokes.) for my Modernism subject. This comparison does not actually make much sense, but do I care? No. So long as I get a mark of above 50. And if they didn't want me to discuss these texts, they should have said so in the assessment outline.

Sorry, what? How did I miss this? Is there even anything to say about it? I don't think there are words. Carry on, boys! I want to touch Billie's hair.

Script is handed in. Now I have to write my short story, due Thursday morning. I should have started this earlier. But, alas, I am an idiot. And now it's like Paul McDermott meets Drop Dead Fred, but it's too late to change it, so... Tally Ho!

I'm sure we were all shocked and saddened to hear about Misha's pony. It is now walking the treadmill in the sky. I would very much like to see this bunker of his though.

Green Day continue to be adorable and gay. Let's see if J2 can match them at Asylum. Seriously, why does this stuff always take place when I have scripts and short stories to complete? (Although on that note, I just got another HD for my script pitching assessment, so that's certainly boosted my confidence in this subject somewhat. And that took place around AHBL. Ahhhh.)

Again with Good News Week guests attempting to have sex with Paul. It's like it's some kind of law! I love this show oh so much. Speaking of, are J2 likely to do talkshows etc around Asylum? I think it's necessary! Someone mentioned they should do Graham Norton. I support this.)

Oh, and my album finally arrived! So pretty :D It doesn't fit in my special Green Day CD rack, though, so I'll have to... build an extension/platform for it to sit on. Or something.

Anyway. Off to come up with a storyline for the prose major work. Having possibly exhausted my gay/lesbian couple story quota for the year, maybe it can even feature straight folk. Ehhh.

You guys, Misha having a Twitter is the most amusing thing ever. He can totally tweet about J2 shenanigans when filming starts back up. I spent the day watching S1 and squeeing over dorky happy giggly Dean, oh my God.

Green Day were on Aussie Video Hits today, and I hope someone caught it on tape because I swear to God, Billie and Tre were practically cuddling. Billie also mentioned their lack of theatre/musical experience, other than taking their kids to see the Lion King (together? eeee), but that they were excited about AI the musical, and that they planned to dress up as cats and get on stage. Then made a highly effeminate purring sound. Yay, Billie.

Oh, and Billie straddling Mike, and Cutest body language ever + Billie mentions Twilight, and Billie being freaking adorable and glomping Mike at the end.

I feel so privileged, being born the same month their first album came out. It also makes me feel relatively young, in comparison. Or maybe it makes them seem really old. I dunno. Probably the first.

Just quietly, I love that most if not all of my great fandom loves are huge, gigantic, unforgivable DORKS. On this note, (dramatic!Jensen, anyone?) I need need neeeed the S4 bloopers right now. And I saw a little scene from 9 yesterday. I am terribly excited! I may have flailed a little at Elijah's voice.

And... I am weak. I caved. I listened to the entire album. EEEEEEEEEEEEE )

So, you know, Billie, you know, let slip that in, you know, December, Green Day will be in Australia. For my birthday, clearly. You know. Presumably just the once, but I'm determined to travel around a bit if they do shows in a couple of states.

Also, Billie, ilu. You know.

I also officially have a start to my NZ fund, thanks to Mr Rudd. I shall make it my mission to get there at some point next year. Just to... be in the general area. Perhaps stalk visit some sets once more. And live in Cuba Street, mainly. Mmm, Fidels breakfast.

And how long til Asylum, already? I need more J2 public fuzzies! You know. (They need to sing the Guy Love song. Like, on a blooper reel. Ironically. But then contrast it with all the GAY THINGS that they do, and then like, you know, kiss at the end. Ironically.)

And, just back from Dylan Moraaaan. )

... Look, all I'm saying, is that Jared and Jensen could learn a lot from Green Day. A lot. Holy schnikeys, boys, I had forgotten how amazingly and gloriously gay y'all were. Please keep it up! I mean, the album isn't even out yet! Green Day discuss and demonstrate their alternative lifestyle. Admittedly, I will allow that J2 have the love heart eyes down pat.

Ugh, I have to come up with some sort of class activity relevant to Ulysses. Maybe I could write a thousand word epic with weird formatting and force them to all read it. (I'm sure Ulysses is a great book, but I'm kicking myself for not assigning myself the two page poetry section.) Heeellp.

Just heard Know Your Enemy on the radio. !!!!!! XD Loooove, boys, love. *dances around the house* Also heard Billie chatting about it. His voice, oh, more love. I may have squealed. A lot. The DJ referred to them as awesome, coming a long way for a band who started out 'named after weed, singing about poo.'

Just FYI, I'll probably end up twittering at the con on Sunday, so if anyone wants to subject themself to mindless squeeing, I'm over here: http://twitter.com/elw22

Also. I am experiencing a massive wave of love for Pippin right now. I have missed him! He still reigns as my favourite fictional character, but I have been neglecting him something awful. It's possible I spent most of Tuesday night on Stories of Arda, rather than working at my script. So really, it's only fair I spread the love with some adorableness. Because really, is he not the most beautiful sweet creature in the world? We actually saw not one but two wee poodle dogs at the Easter Show named Pippin, and they were dancing and being adorable. I feel it was a sign to show the wee fellow some love.

Okay so a) It's nice to hear more about Elijah conceivably appearing in the Hobbit. I'm pretty sure that has to mean will definitely be in it or else, World, but still, any news on that front has to be good. I demand wee hobbit scenes! I absolutely demand it!

And, I realise now, it's nearly been a year since the Foxboro Hot Tubs were first released to us as a wonderful, wonderful Christmas present, and I still must listen to them at least once a week, and ahhh, boys. <3

And holy sheet, I'm going to be 20 in a little over a month. I am not going to freak out and have a 1/4 life crisis or anything.

Victory insane rant )

Also, Jensen's most favourite/admired actor is teh Depp himself. I knew there was a reason I liked this fella. Apart from his wonderful dramatic hamster impressions. By the way, haha.

And now... Now, I can start my other four assignments due at various stages over the next two weeks :D I do not need sleep. Just m&ms and vanilla coke. Of which I have neither. So bring on a bloopers watching session, then straight back into it. Ahahahah I am going to be a cerficiable basketcase by the end of session, I just know it.

Also, Green Day in the studio! Omg! Billie hip-waving! eee! And WTF, Green Day and U2 have been involved in rebuilding New Orleans from day one; why are we suddenly getting news articles on yahho about Brad Pitt's sudden involvement?

Oh but before I go, this report from one of the cons made me squee, aloud and everything. Shy, socially maladjusted!Jensen and protective!Jared makes my heart melt lol.

Philosophy is the biggest bullshit subject in the history of bullshit subjects, and this is coming from a creative writing student. No, really. My course, at least. The lectures are semi-interesting (We bitched about Friends yesterday) but the tutorials consist of "Okay, divide into two groups, the topic is 'is it ethical to kill someone'. Debate!"

... I do not debate. Nor do I speak publically. Obviously I became a writer to do both of those things. I harbour no desires to become a hermit and be social via the internet. None at all.

Anyway. I'm bored out of my brain so it's time for cappage and bizzare captions ooof...

Had three lovely surprises this weekend. First of all, I found Toy Soldiers (the Sean Astin movie), and rewatched that this morning. I'm much less icky with the gore in it this time, and whilst the subject matter is horrible and unfortunately fairly relevant today, I loved Sean's performance, and his character and his friends. A cap or two lurk behind the cut lol.

I also found two of the special edition Lord of the Rings dvds, whilst Return of the King still eludes me. There's two discs on each: one with both the theatrical and extended versions of the movies, and a second disc with an hour and a half worth of documentary about behind the scenes stuff. Again, more fangirlish detail lurks beneath.

Aaand I woke up this morning to be greeted with the news that BILLIE (at least) has been busy musically (as opposed to charitably) between Green Day albums, and I found three songs by what would appear to be his new side project Foxboro Hot Tubs. It's like a 60s rock band with BILLIE. *has died and gone to seventh heaven*

In any case. Cut worthy squealing matter follows, feel free to ignore lol. I'm just rather endlessly bored. And hot. Ergh summer.
